普专《英语口语(4)》课程学习辅导
一、课程概述
《英语口语(4)》是江苏广播电视大学专科英语专业的必修课程。本课程的教学目的是通过大量的口语练习和实践,逐步培养和提高学生用英语进行口头交际的能力。通过本课程的学习,学生应能经一定准备后, 就一般日常生活和社会生活话题作3-5分钟的连贯性发言和交谈,做到语音、语调、语法基本正确。
二、教材说明
本课程的教学媒体包括文字教材和录音教材。
文字主教材:《英语口语(4)》课程使用的是高等教育出版社出版的《英语口语教程2》(姚保慧主编),该教程包括学生用书和教师用书,并配有录音带两盒。英语口语(4)学习《英语口语教程2》第10 – 18单元。本课程共学习18周,每两周学习一个单元。

三、教材内容
本课程的总体设计原则是“以功能和话题为纲”。教材中每个单元的前三部分就每项功能和话题提供了听说训练素材及控制性到自由型的多种口语练习形式,这三部分内容是必须学习的内容。《英语口语(4)》所涉及的语言功能和话题为:

五、 学习方法
提高口语技能必须经过一个循序渐进、逐步提高的过程才能实现。在课堂上要发挥主动性和参与意识,坚持多用英语表达自己的思想。课内外充分利用口语实践机会,积极参加多样的口语练习活动。
提高口语技能还依靠其他多种语言技能的综合提高,英语的听、说、读、写、译技能与提高口语有不可分割的联系。
大量听的信息的输入是说的基本条件。边听边模仿,改进自己的语音和语调。
另外要通过阅读增大词汇量,扩展知识面,提高英语口语的质量和深度。
英语写作和翻译练习能帮助巩固所学知识,培养逻辑思维能力,从而提高用英语表达思想的能力。
六、 期末复习
期末考试内容包括大纲规定掌握的英语交际功能和话题,重点考核对所学基本语言要素的掌握程度和语言技能的初步运用能力。考试内容紧密结合所学教材。

课程考核
《英语口语(4)》课程的考核采取两种方式:形成性考核和课程终结考试。课程总成绩为百分制,形成性考核占30%,课程终结考试占70%。
形成性考核是对学生学习过程和阶段性学习效果的综合评价,包括学生参与各项教学活动和自主学习活动的情况以及阶段性的学习进展情况。本课程的形成性考核由任课教师根据学生学习记录(5%),作业完成情况(20%),参加小组活动和其他教学活动的情况(5%)综合评定。
课程终结考试由江苏电大统一命题,在同一时间统考。考试按教学大纲的要求进行。考试的内容紧密结合所学教材。期末考试成绩占课程总成绩的70%。考试内容包括大纲规定掌握的英语交际功能和话题。考题涉及教材内容不少于50%。
终结考试的形式同《英语口语(3)》, 将会分为三个部分,第一部分采取主考问、考生答的形式,主考教师就一些与考生有关的生活、学习等方面的话题进行提问。第二部分为考生之间就日常生活中的一般情景进行交谈。第三部分就一般日常生活和社会生活话题作三分钟的连贯性发言或交谈。
