Directions: Read aloud the following conversation with correct pronunciation and intonation.

A:     Hello. Can I speak to Mr. Jones please?

B:     Sorry. He's out to lunch at the moment.

A:     Oh, I see. Did he leave a message for me? He asked me to ring him about my application.

B:     Just a moment. … No, I'm sorry. There's no message. Could you call back in half an hour? Or can I get him to call you?

A:     Well actually, I'm ringing from a pay phone. So I'll call back in … half an hour did you say?

B:     Mm, yes. But make it 45 minutes, just to be on the safe side.

Task II.   Oral presentation. (50%)

Directions: Give a presentation for the given topic in two minutes. Try to speak fluently and naturally.
